Default Battery box & tie down?
Just noticed in my recently purchased 2010 Base the battery is not clamped down or in a battery box. It is a top terminal. Is this the correct setup?

Top terminals are correct. Battery should sit on a tray and you should be able to see that there is a clamp and bolt on one side near the bottom of the battery. This is the hold down.

1 bolt to a rubber triangular shaped lock down at battery platform.

are you saying your batter is just flopping around under the hood????

Here in Pennsylvania, if the battery isn't tied down the car will not pass the yearly inspection.

Just checked and triangular bracket is there just not correctly.
