Where is the TCM located?
I have gotten conflicting stories on the location of a the TCM located on a 2007 C6 Base. Some say in the transmission and the other in the passenger side wheel well? My vet was programmed by the previous owner and cannot be preprogrammed by the dealer. I want to change it out, but first need to know where to look.
Thanks!
Thanks!

• Manual shift shaft position switch
• Control solenoid valve assembly, which contains the following components:
- Transmission control module (TCM)
- 5 variable bleed line pressure control (PC) solenoids
- Transmission fluid pressure (TFP) switch assembly
- Torque converter clutch (TCC) pressure control solenoid
- 2 shift solenoids

Onlly 05 C6 A4 cars has the TCM in the fender well behind the ECM.
All A6 C6's have the TCM in the trans instead.

Drop the trans pan, remove the filter, there are (11) bolts on the bottom holding the TCM (brown plastic) to the valve body. Then there are 2 bolts on the side. There is NOT enough room to remove them completely so they will remain until the unit is unplugged and pulled down
