Default Uniden R3 on sale for 275 shipped

Mods not sure if this is allowed so sorry if its breaking a rule. I'm not selling anything, but I know these are popular with car folks & its on sale right now for 275 shipped at Rakuten.

https://www.rakuten.com/shop/electro...buFBS8eZVSfm4g

Enter code XP48 at checkout.

I don't work for Rakuten either, just trying to pass a decent deal onto folks I feel would probably take advantage!

I actually bought this one so I don't have to keep swapping the fuzz buster between cars.

I also ordered 1. My last detector lasted 14 years and saved me countless tickets, but it was time for a new one. Thanks for the heads up with the great price.

Do any of you guys have experience with this particular detector? I have been thinking about getting a detector just not sure which one to get.

The R3 is a pretty good detector and one that I cross shopped before getting a Valentine 1. I've just had such good luck with my Valentine over the years I bought a new one for the C6 and I like the directional arrows.

I've been using the R3 for over a year now....it's defiantly worth the price. One saved ticket and it pays for itself.

I'm sure people all have different opinions. I've had a V1 and was perfectly happy with it. I know the R3 has gotten a lot of good reviews as well. I just wanted to try something else. I don't think you can go wrong honestly with any of the high end detectors. In the end though all are just a tool to help you out. I also like using Waze to alert where they might be hiding! Haven't installed a CB into any of my vehicles yet though
