Question for those users... Are the stripes a topic of conversation with passerby folks at fuel stops and intersections and parking lots?.. Are you answering inquiries about the hash stripes.?.. Is it a topic about your car?

I much prefer the "clean look", or at least a very subtle color combo. Having said that, I really, really like the flat black stripes down the middle of my GS CE. The bottom line? It's not my call. Make it yours.

I actually do get asked about them often. When I was driving out to get my car I thought they would be the first thing I took off. After seeing it in person I thought they looked ok, and other people do comment on how they like them. As of today I think I'm going to take them off for the summer. If I miss them I'll spend the money on aftermarket ones.

I had always wondered about putting them on mine after I did the widebody. Would have liked the look with competition gray stripes over orange, but decided painting the spoiler was enough.

I acquired a 2011 GS almost a year ago. I immediately planned on adding the GS hashmarks on the front fenders. Ordered a high quality set. But after they arrived, I started second guessing myself . I LOVE the look of a GS with the hashmarks.....but my car is so perfect and unmolested, I haven’t been able to pull the trigger and install them.
i want to hear everyone’s opinion on hashmarks strips on Grand Sports.
BTW....my car is Torch Red and the strips are black.
