Tail Light original torx screws "where to buy them?"
I have lost one of my original screws for one of my tail lights. I called GM dealer and the claim I can no longer buy them.... they are discontinued.
I have tried to use a #8 Phillips screw and it is slightly smaller in thread diameter and it unscrewed and fell out in one drive....
Anyone know where I can buy original screws or ones that match up correctly to them?
I have a new to me 2010 GS vert that I have only driven 5 times and twice my taillight fell out and was hanging by the plugs only to have other drivers shame me and tell me my car is falling apart

Make sure the screw has the metal grommet needed for it to grip. I was putting rubber water leak prevention on my tail lights and when I was wiping the housing area inadvertently moved a grommet. The screw wouldn't tighten until I checked it and put the grommet back in place.

I had the same thing happen when install a wicker bill spoiler.
The metal keeper can be bent to allow the screw to tighten if it's to loose.

I would suggest taking one of the others out and to your local hardware store tosee if you can find a match or at least something very close. Good luck in your search.

Using the part #, have your Chevy store do a search to see what other dealers show the item in stock. I have done this twice - including for this item a few months ago.

It would be great if you posted the link on the McMaster Carr site where you found the screws. Having the specs would be valuable for some.
