Thanks Dave, got my mirror today and installed. For those that wonder it does fit in the margins of the OEM mirro in other words the black trim ring around mirror is still visible.
Have not drivin with it yet but I think visibility is much improved, not that I had any issues yet, but I like the added visibility.

I remember Sandy Eggo as the Soccers mascot in the 80’s.

The passenger side is already has a curved surface. There's been several requests for this so we may look at it in the future.

I'm really curious as well. I have a small stick on now, but this looks like a much better solution.

Please explain how there is a blind spot in the C6 mirrors, and how this works any better than factory considering you can adjust the mirrors to view anything on either side of the car with an overlap between all three (both side view and rear view). Your pics don't show me anything other than a blurred image.

This item comes as an offshoot from the Pana-View Blind Spot Mirror for the C7. There’s several threads on the C7 forums that go into detail.

The blind spots are much more severe in the C7 and users are very happy with our mirror. After introduction many requests came from C6 owners. So, now it’s available for the C6 too. Try it. It won’t break the bank and it works really well.
Cheers,
Dave

With the C7 I understand as there are multiple blind spots, and I have test driven every model available including the ZR1, but you still haven't answered my question as to where are the blind spots in a C6? I haven't noticed any at all, and your pics don't show anything other than a blurred image. Even in a vert with the top up I'm not seeing any blind spots as long as the mirrors are adjusted accordingly.

This product is being offered at the request of numerous C6 drivers who have seen our mirror on a C7 and requested it for their C6. I don't drive a C6 myself so I don't have accumulated experience of driver's side rear viewing in it. However, I have sat in a C6 when this mirror was being developed and have seen first hand how much our mirror adds to the amount of area shown by the reflection. Our mirror greatly improves the rear and side view from the driver door mirror. THAT MUCH IS A FACT.

So, if you are satisfied with your stock mirror, then so be it. I'm not going to debate whether there is or is not a driver's side blind spot in the C6. If you don't think so then you don't need a wide view mirror. If someone else does then we offer our product as a solution. And at this price point, its not really a great risk is it?

And I apologize if my images aren't clear enough. I don't have the budget to hire professional photographers.

Look, maybe some buyers will chime in and tell us of their impressions when they install it. It takes a while for new items to get thoroughly reviewed and (hopefully) accepted.

Dave

I’ll be buying one because yes there are blind spots even if you adjust your mirrors perfect because sometimes you are in a different seating position or slumping.

I too wondered why anybody would need one of these in the C6. The first time I drove in one I thought they were one of the best vehicles I'd sat in for visibility. But there's a buyer for everything, I've learned.

I agree that the C6 visibility is pretty good. Better than the C7 by far...
But, I'd bet a lot of C6 owners still stick on those little blind spot mirrors you can get from Walmart to get a little more coverage. That's what our Pana-View Blind Spot mirror does. It gives you MUCH greater coverage.
You may say its not needed. But that's subjective to you. The ones who use the little mirrors may say otherwise.
And who says it has to be *needed*? Our mirror gives you a lot better view of the area behind and beside you. With just a glance you get a lot of information. Drivers may just *want* that.

**** it, went ahead and ordered.

Like others have mentioned with properly adjusted mirrors visability is good in the C6. But for 40 bucks shipped if it even marginally improves viability its worth it in my book.

I'll update this thread with my impressions.

Default Pricing?

What happened to the $29.99 pricing? (It's now $34.99...)
