Default Installed Cleartastic film

Spent all afternoon on it today. Kits 76 and 80, which cover the front and lower part of the front bumper, the gills, lower fenders, rear brake ducts, and rear section of the rocker panels. Not an extremely difficult job. Just time consuming. Back when I had my Z06, I had a guy put VentureShield on much more than what I did today and I don't think I paid more than $900 for that. That was money well spent. This was tiring, but satisfying. Nothing really to see in the pics. That's kind of the point.

Nice Job, I have thought about doing this also. I might start with the mirrors and work my way to larger areas.

Thanks. IMO, the best place to start is on panels with little to no curve to get familiar with the application process. I saved the bumper for last and I'm glad I did. The other parts were relatively quick. The lower fender and rockers were a piece of cake.

You have to really look for the edges to spot it. Unless you're looking for it, you won't notice.

Either you're one hell of a photographer or you have a beautiful GS, that paint looks amazing!

Thanks. I don't know what had been applied to the paint before I bought it in May, but the water was beading up nicely while washing it. I then applied 303 Touchless Sealant. Since I had to de-wax/seal the paint for the Cleartastic, I applied Jescar Powerlock by hand over those areas after 2 days of letting it adhere.

How does the kit address the flags on the top bumper ? Most shops will remove the emblem , apply the material and then reinstall the flag emblem.

It doesn't go that high. It runs about level with the yellow marker lights.
