Default Looks like it’s time to go

I have a 2013 GS with 14 k on it . What do you think a fair trade in or private sale price would be. I don’t want to let the car sit in my garage and not be driven. I have been doing this for too long and time to change my life and head in a different direction. I will edit with pics later but the car is in my avatar.

Go here:

https://www.edmunds.com/used-cars-for-sale/

and get Edmunds to tell you the 3 prices for your car.

Demographics will be a major factor. Check prices of similar cars in the Tampa area. The dealers will always charge more. Good luck

I would guess mid thirties if you are selling the car yourself, less if you are doing a trade in

Since it is a 1LT with plati-dipped wheels and those poser "Jake" decals everywhere, not more than $30K.

I've noticed he does not approve of anyone changing the look of a stock corvette....

For reference, I have a 2012 GS 1LT with 28k miles and the most dealers have offered is 23k. I think on trade in you could expect at most 26k. Unfortunately there are a ton of these cars out there. I made the decision to just keep mine as to me it's too good of a car for 23k. I would recommend that you take it to Carmax as in the past I've always been offered more there and its an incredibly simple process with zero hassle.

1LT cars are typically worth a LOT less than higher end models. People dont want stripped out cars, they want the toys.

You need to wait for the C8 reveal next week.
It is either going to be a hit or miss.
If it is a hit, the C6 drops some value. If it is a miss, then the C6 will hold or slightly increase in value.
No way to tell until after the reveal.

Absolutely. Never said otherwise. You also pay a lot less for 1lt cars.

Very true. A dealership will likely laugh in your face if you ask for KBB. It values cars for trade value WAY too high.

Low end kbb trade-in looks pretty realistic to me. Sometimes they have crackpipe estimates, sometimes not.
.
And we all see what you're doing.
