Yeah exactly!. I had an 08 and it did the same thing especially while turning left for some reason. I think this is your problem:

I often get some lazy shifts first thing in the morning if I am going very easy as it warms up. I have only noticed this in D and haven't given it the S chance to see if it helps. At first I was concerned but there are no problems otherwise, especially when driving aggressively.
The link to shift flair sounds like my problem (thanks for sharing) but at the moment I am not too concerned by it.

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this. It is hard to explain. However, when I use the paddles and downshift into a gear, many times it feels like there is a shift within the gear. Almost like an Overdrive behavior or something.
I always drive in Sport mode, but most of the time I use the paddles, especially when it goes into 6th when I am driving around at 35-45. No idea why it wouldn't just stay in 5th. well I know why, fuel economy, but doesn't feel or sound right. Anyway, I will down shift into 5th, or down into whichever gear I am in. It sounds and feels like there is another shift even though it is still in the same gear.
Anyone else notice similar behavior? It seems to only do it when I am not just cruising and not pushing it.
