I have watched videos of cleaning the door release .so my drivers side doesn't open.my passenger side opens great.so I cleaned the drivers side and still doesn't open.so I switched them and still doesn't open.....what do I do now?

I assume the that passenger door still "does" and the driver's side with the original passenger door release "doesn't", (1) Its a C6, so unhook the battery, wait a second or two and securely reconnect the terminals (I can't believe how many times this has worked for me.). (2) I would check fuses, then if all are OK, (3) start at the door and check for voltage and work your way back. (4) Does the FOB work - yes - then you know the problem is likely in the door. No - then keep working backwards toward the BCM. (5) You might try to short the correct pins and see if the door will open as well.

Hopefully, someone more electrically inclined will chime in, but that's how I, a DIY type, would go about it.
