Stereo Problems 2008 C6 Bose with Aftermarket HU
I've read many threads but still haven't figured out where my problem is.
A few months back my stereo sound began to intermittently cut out until it finally stopped all together regardless of the input source. The head unit seems to function properly but I cannot tell if it's the GM PAL adapter or the stock amp. I hate to just replace parts till I find it, any suggestions on how to verify what's working or not? I have checked all my wiring connection twice and three times as well as all associated fuses.
Thanks for any help.

OK, I hooked up an external speaker and tested speaker wires for sound coming out of the radio to the GMAHB and there was which, to me anyway, indicated the radio is functioning properly. I then tested same wiring coming out of the GMAHB going to the amp and there was no sound.
Should I have sound or is the low level output not enough to power the speaker?
I've stopped there for now.
