Perfect match for my ZR1 style splitter in Torch Red, but my paint hasn't seen excessive sun, so it's not faded. Matching the OEM paint is a no brainer. Matching faded paint is more difficult, and RPI won't/can't do that for you. Some body shops can do a good paint match.

I used them for my wide body quarter panels. They matched the machine silver color perfectly. I do believe that with the orange colors, sending in your gas cap door is required. Good luck!

Paint match is typically good, paint coverage
is typically light
find a local shop to match and spray you
should have better results they way

Are the cars that had a perfect match DD? If the car has been paint correct should I expect a match?

Mine is not a DD, pretty much a garage queen.
I wouldn't think paint correction such removing swirl marks should affect any.
Fading paint however would probably be a difficult match.

I purchased 2 painted items from them & both had issues. The response after a lot of back & forth was for me to send the items back to be “fixed”. I declined that option.

Finds a great body shop that the local corvette club uses & talk to them. I did for my rear spoiler & new hood & not only was the cost less, but the quality is perfect & it has a lifetime guaranty.

I think they'll let you send them your gas door to match the color. AO has may variants over the years. I'd hate to waste money on a guess for work that expensive..
