Security System Locked 2006 C6 Convert.
I am needing some guidance I installed a Pioneer AVH-501EX receiver using a PACRP5-GM11 to retain the Bose system. Battery was disconnected for the install. Hooked battery back up stereo works fine but the check engine light stays on, security lock light stays on and dash says to service ride system shows up on the das read out. I have indexed the windows and battery has good charge. The security system works but light and lock stay on. I also removed the XM satellite radio receiver. WHat am I missing did I not get something hooked back up?? HELP!!!!!

Scanned and found U0101 TCM not communicating. I removed all of the stereo equipment installed with the same results. I found 1 wire in a small harness by the battery had been rubbed through, replaced section of wire this did no good??? Does anybody know if there is any wiring connections in the dash where radio is installed that relates to this problem. Didn't see any thing unusual in there?? I don't know where to go to troubleshoot this. any help is appreciated.

In passenger footwell fuse pit there're 3 large blue connectors.
Carefully check to see if one or more worked loose, even slightly.
Loose plug symptom manifestes w/ intermittent opens on some pins, why the crazy behavior.
When reported it caused all manner of havok w/ electronics, discovering it was a gift to C6 community back in the day.
Owners who routinely had a passenger seemed to be more prone to experiencing this the most, FWIW.
Passenger weight xfer thru flimsy cover contacting connects causing one or more pins in connectors to flex, open(s).
While rare it has happened & when it did owners pulled their hair out chasing many rabbits down many holes before discovering this.
Members checking these 3 connectors also put a little dielectric grease on pins before reconnecting.

After I have a dead battery or reconnected battery I have to pull the fuse plug for the radio or my electronics do all kinds of funky stuff (like the doors not opening, alarm triggers, etc.) Try pulling the radio fuse and putting it back in.

I am surprised that no one has yet to suggest a NEW battery. Even though you contend that your old battery is good, time and time again other forum members in similar situations have found the solution to be a battery replacement even when the old battery is apparently OK. Good luck
