While I will admit they are a very nice looking addition, you did not mention, or at least I did not notice that to make this work as a left side downshift and right side upshift the person will need to either purchase the adapter that converts the paddles to this, or modify the wiring so it allows them to operate as normal paddle shifter. I changed mine over back in 2015 with a different brand of course and I did the wiring modification.

You need to de-pin the connector and flip the two wires for the F1 mod. As you know, super easy with everything apart!
This kit replaces the lever inside of the housing, like the one you posted above.
Now the F1 mod is not necessary, but definitely improves driving experience over the stock setup!
