Keeping it clean

Keeping it clean
I recently had to relocate for work to a colder climate. I am curious if there are any good waterless ways to wash my car since it is too cold to use the hose. Also, I can't run through automatic car wash because of convertible top.

I dont think it's great for an actual wash, to deal with salt or dirt or anything. It's probably good enough for dust removal or "caught in a shower" cleanup.

Adam's Waterless Wash. There's a specially designed towel you need to get as well.

I've used the waterless, and although it does work, it is not ideal. If it's too cold outside to use my own water hose, I either use a self serve car wash, or a touchless car wash. If the car is just dusty, then I may use a Quick Detailer, which I carry during road trips.

I use Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice (the kind in the purple bottle). Works great for cleaning the entire car. Available on Amazon.

I can only talk about the Adams product line, but the Waterless wash does a great job for cars that are not real dirty, but to far gone for simply using detail spray. If you have garage, I would recommend the Adam Rinseless Wash for a dirty car. Checkout his web site and forum, he is a vendor on here.

I have used "touchless" car washes on my convertible without an issue.

How dirty does the car get? If you mean driving in the snow/salt, waterless products will not work, you should also be wary of automatic car washes as they may damage your wheels and or top. If you don't have a garage to pull into, use the old fashioned coin operated spray car wash, take a bucket, sponge, & some towels with you

Too cold to use the hose??? When I lived in NY & TN I would drain the water out of the hose and keep it in the basement. The hose never froze and was always ready to be used. I'm not a fan of waterless washes. So glad I live in Florida.

I use Adams waterless wash all the time. Just don't use any of them on a vehicle that is real dirty. If you have mud or stuff like that you can scratch the finish. Nothing beats soap (Adams car wash) and warm water.
