If they get wind of that they will cancel your warranty.Harley threatened to cancel the warranty if we installed a factory tach on friends bike.We fooled them as they never seemed to notice tach on bike.They also wanted to charge big money for primary chain tensioning on a newer Dyna that has self adjusting primary chain tensioner

I can't recall if the plugs have a crush gasket. I don't think so.

If torquing, reduce applied torque for lubed threads by 20% and you'll be close enough.

There's no way you're stretching threads (for an elastic clamping force) at book torque and I seriously doubt you can make the plug interfere even with a crush gasket before you pull the threads out of the head.
