Question on exhaust..I have a base 2007 that is bone stock. Its the z51 so its got the track stuff on it. It looks mean, but just dosent sound like it looks. I dont have a bunch of money right now to throw at it. I want a good deep rumble, but not the dreaded drone inside. I have looked at a few but always seem to get scared away for fear I will buy one and regret how it sounds. What is everyones opinion on what to get? Prob axle back for now?

Cheapest I found was the SLP exhaust or the speed engineering exhaust, which looks exactly like the SLP. I have the SLP2 currently and it does drone especially when going up a long mild uphill. Otherwise I think people play it out to be worse than it really is.

If you were looking mainly for a sound improvement and wanted something a little more affordable, an axleback would be the way to go!
