Default Shined up the Callaway: Guess I picked a good time to retire

Just like everyone else stuck at home, spent a fews hours on the car this morning. Have enjoyed seeing all the recent pics being posted by others so here are mine.
All clean and no where to go and it was raining here today.
On a more serious note; I sold my dental practice this past November. I was getting close to being ready, and I was approached by someone who wanted to move to my area and start a family. He was practicing for 8 years in the DC area and was looking for somewhere a bit less congested. I really liked him and we worked out a deal, and he took over. I have been staying on to introduce and help out. Things worked out great for both, up until last week. All dental offices in Maryland were required to stop all routine and elective treatment and provide emergency care only. This was to slow the spread of the disease and conserve badly needed personal protective materials. I feel really bad for what the new person has to go through with 7 staff members and all the loans he has (college, dental, practice and building purchase)
Being a small business owner for 29 years, my heart goes out to all the businesses and people affected by everything all that is going on.

Thanks for the kind words. It is a great practice that I have built up over the years. All the patients are like family. and it has been great seeing the kids I treated when they were quite young now bringing their kids. I have been lucky to choose a great area of Maryland to live (Eastern Shore) and I am quite confident the new dentist will hang in there and have a great practice/life here. Hope all this madness clears up in the near future. Be sure to not wax the paint right off your Vettes with all this down time!
