Default Help Front Rail Assembly 2013 427 Vert

Hey All I just joined and wanted to ask a question. I have a c6 427 Vert. I think I have a problem looks like this part of my front rail assembly is broken. I am not a mechanic and i do not know how bad this is.

See the clip is broken.

This is what they look like on the frame before installed on the rest of the car.

Default After Some Research

After some research I have learned that the area I am looking at are the bolts from the front rail frame that holds the sub frame for the engine. The bolts are fine however it looks the the guide they sit i was sheared. Does anyone have information on the repair.

I went out and looked at my car. It had these grey colored caps over the bolts, like in the picture of the replacement frame. Did you remove yours, or were they missing?

I was just curious. Very strange, why would someone do that? Did you buy the car from a dealer? Are all 4 like this? I would take it to a Chevy dealer that has a body shop, and knows the car to find out if the car was damaged in any way, and wasn't reported to the insurance company.

I have had the car for 3 yrs. Never noticed before. And I do drive aggressive but aggressive driving will not shear this part of the frame. Its only like this on the drivers side.

Considering that you had the car for that period of time, and haven't experienced any ill effects, I wouldn't worry about it. But it wouldn't hurt to ask someone that actually works on these cars, and replaced the frame on a repair, if they know what caused this or why! That's just me, if it were my car.
