Halo/B pillar rubber strip replacement HELP
I went to was my 2005 C6 and noticed that the rubber strip between the rear glass and the halo was starting to come off. I tried searching for videos/ threads on how to fix this, but couldn’t find any.

Order new gasket https://www.cheapestgmparts.com/oem-...-seal-15250758
Open hatch, remove old gasket, clean area, install new by pressing on.

I had the same issue a few years ago. Easy enough to purchase the new seal, but getting it installed with the hatch open is next to impossible because the hinges and hatch itself get in the way to correctly align and stick the new seal on.
The best way is one of two things.
1) Remove the hatch window assembly to get at the halo seal to properly remove the residue of the old seal, and clean the area with alcohol to assure a good adhesion of the seal tape.
2) Easiest - Remove the halo to clean and remove residue, and install new seal.
There are many video's showing how to do the removal of both items. Pick the one that looks easiest to you.
Good Luck

My apologies that my car is at my upholsterer's so I cannot get a pic for you but he did an install of this gasket for me. I believe the gasket was <$50. He removed the hatch (I installed chrome hinges at the top ), removed the old gasket, cleaned the adhesive from the old, and the new gasket was peal and stick. Looks good.
