Default Another door pad cleaning

Driver's side door pad has always been a bit finicky. I'd seen plenty of posts about cleaning but had just never gotten a 'rountuit'. Gave her a quick wash yesterday to clear of the winter grime & decided to clean the pad while I was out there. Easiest fix I've done (well, maybe except for just a reboot with the negative battery cable).

10 minutes tops start to finish. Works great

You can buy a new set off e-bay free shipping no taxes for $24.00, why bother, the seals are probably dried out, and lett moisture getting inside.

Fair point I was planning on doing that one of these days but hadn't gotten my rountuit for that either and I have LOTS of time these days so decided to tackle it.

Why waste $24.00 if you can fix it for 0.00. I did mine on my 2010 base about 3 years ago. No problems with the seals or pads since then. And, no $$ out of pocket. Worth a try since it is so EASY to do.

Nice color combo, one you don't see often!

I clean mine every few years, never had a problem. Use Brasso to clean the circuit board works great.

I did mine a few months ago. Posted in a thread on here. Good job! Save $$
