For those of you still interested in this adventure of mine, I have some news. I took the advice and went to my local dealer and the technician ran my codes but didn't seem too interested in them. For $300 in labor they pulled my dash to check my linkage and bushings and said there was nothing wrong.

So, next step was to pull the tranny. I politely told them no and limped her in 4th gear all the way home. Pulling the tranny in a couple weeks with some buddies. A few beers and a free weekend should do the trick.

Local transmission shop quoted me a rebuilt transmission for $1300-$2000 range. More to come!

My thoughts as well! Pulled the tranny with a buddy and took it to a local shop. More insight on that coming this week! I did however notice something under my shifter. I had a bunch of metal shaving from some extra movement in the shifter box (if that’s what it’s called). Check out this picture. The tranny guy said I shouldn’t be too concerned with it but I would like some extra advice! Probably just some **** bushing that allowed too much rotation in the box. Although the metal shavings on the integrated magnets in the tranny however didn’t seem to be excessive as shown below as well.

Presume a stock shifter, as said it's an '07 and has made many shifts.
Hope this isn't internal to trans, unfortunately now's the ideal time to install a MGW.
$400 on top of xmission bill possible?

Be watching for update on exactly what's happening, here.
