Drop the air bag and it is all there.

With the right tool the F1 mod was easy enough. You will suffer with out it. Most auto parts stores have something like it.

Nice isn’t it? Yes I did it last year, for me getting the air bag out was the biggest pita not the F1 mod as I have experience with those style connectors, air bags not so much. Lol.

I ended up using that 90 deg. pick and it made finding the release a little faster.

I got mine done a week or two ago and love them. Big difference in the feel and appearance. Plus having the right paddle only upshift is well worth the effort and money!

I did the change to the right paddle years ago. I just added the F1 paddles during the hibernation period, and it went well. the air bag removal is the trickiest to get the releases hit with the punch.

I love the new look.
