Wow, that is awful.

I owned an '02 Z06 with their Stage 2+ TT package (built motor) and had the setup for 14 years. Last year sold the car to my son. It has run flawlessly, only needing minor things in nearly 15 years of having that package. So sorry to hear about your situation. Is it all engine-related stuff?

For exactly what did it have to go back 4 times in 9 years, please list issue or issues.
Some would say if cigarette lighter didn't work, they're taking it back.
So what was/is the snag here?

To the question, no, it's not normal.
For a Lingenfelter, or any other Corvette.

I got the car delivered Dec 2017 it had been away for 9 months. July 2018 threw a bearing while sitting a Red light ( oil pressure problem) car went back to LPE. Got the car back in Oct 2018, after 30 days my Oil pressure at idle, was in the low 20's. Sent the car back in January 2019. The problem was someone decided to us my old block for the rebuild, it had 200,000 mi on the motor prior to going to LPE Ken got involved at this point ( I sent them a video!) put a new block on the motor. July 2019 The oil sender went bad. 5k miles on the new motor. Took it to a local shop, Sender was old, had some kind of sealer on it, I still have the part. February 2020 dropped #2 lifter. sent back to LPE. I need to re edit my original post... This is the PC version.

Looks like each failure was separate, a good sign.
Have to admit lost me re 200K motor etc.

At some point it'll be rung-out, for a while, same stuff usually doesn't break twice minus wear items.
IF it has a 'lemon' feeling what else can be done except flipping it.

how hot was the oil and what weight? 205+ temps and 5W30 20’s at idle is pretty normal

now if this was cold idle...that’s not good at all

Low 20’s at idle is not an issue at all, hot or cold
the oil sender failing, if you didn’t ask for it to be replaced
during the work what can be said. That’s a push, how far
should they tell you to take it on replacing hang on parts?
starter, alternator, mafs, cats, belts, ac compressor, on and on
@ 200,000 miles the block is not worn out.
all of the wearable parts can be replaced as needed
(bearings, sleeves etc) so as long as you don’t have core shift the block is fine
some would say a seasoned block would be better than a new one

200000 miles on a aluminum block with steel sleeves is different.

I think low 20's would have me wondering and not have much confidence in any engine with oil pressure that low.Hot idle on mine is 40 lbs
