Default OEM coil replacement

I have a C6 6.0L all stock. l need a replacement coil due to a miss fire on Cylinder 3. Looking everywhere I cannot find an exact replacement.
The numbers off the coil are 12570616 H6T55271ZC
I did order a part from GM parts direct, but the replacement has a round body - Part 12699382. this was their direct replacement.
Can you help me with where to find real OEM parts for my vette? I have not gone to the dealer but will if needed.

Here.... https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/g...-12570616.html ... there's sure to be other vendors if you do a patient search.

Default OEM coil replacement

Thank you Dave S. I was patient at first but after waiting more than a week to get the coil and it not being the exact replacement, I will be calling a local dealer. I will try your recommendation on my next purchase or if the dealer does not come through. Thanks again.

You could try a couple of Corvette recycle vendors if all else fails.

It's not unusual for auto makers to supersede parts with newer part numbers. The newer number should work as well or better than the original.
