Pucked Myself

Just some hardware store eye screws are threaded into the puck. Yes, turning the puck 90 degrees will hold it in place in the jacking point.

So the eye bolts hold the puck in place by turning the whole thing 90 degrees?
Has anyone else heard that the doors and lids should be popped open when the car is put up on a lift so the body doesn't flex and break a hinge or latch? A co-worker of mine who works at a tire shop on the weekends said that they do that with C7's because a shop had one on a lift and the body flexed enough to break the latch on the hatch or hood.

It was a thing until the C5 came out, and went out the window after that thanks to a solid frame that didn't flex like earlier generations did.

Piece of 2 x 4 lumber works perfect. Has for 35 years. Cost is $0. If you go to a shop that does not have the pucs, then you my friend are in the wrong shop. Just sayin
