Default c6 seats

I just got a 2005 C6 corvette and the driver side seat keeps moving forward as I drive. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Welcome to the forum. Is it possible that the switch is getting stuck on the side of your seat?

It only does when i sit. Someone said it could be the memory module thats located under seat. Any thoughts?

Possibility you may have an issue with your driver seat and telescoping module.Had same issue with my 05 more than 10 years ago so difficult to remember what the warranty fix was at the dealer.Seems was an issue concerning d.s module and telescoping steering module.I have a new d.s. module sitting on the shelf here and didn't install it as I preferred the auto telescoping wheel feature not to activate on entry and exit so that module harness under seat would not be moved constantly causing other issue's.I keep all my invoice's for work performed but that one seems to be missing in action

I was thinking about replacing the ds seat module but not sure if it has to be programmed by the dealer. Some people say its plug and play

You can check under the seat to be sure that one of the wires is not bare and touching the under seat support wires.
Then go from there.

Good Luck

Does the seat move when you start the car? If so, it would be because it's programmed to the personal settings of the previous owner.

It does it randomly. I could be stopped at light and seat starts to move forward or i could be driving on highway and all of a sudden starts to move forward.

Has your seat been reupholstered?

If so, it's possible that plastic cover on the bottom/side of the seat was reinstalled incorrectly.

If installed incorrectly the plastic cover can put pressure on the seat adjustment switch which can cause the problem you have.
