What clips/fasteners hold the air intake?
I have a 2008, LS3, stock intake. I want to replace the air filter. What clips/fasteners hold the air intake to the body/frame? What device do I need to release the air intake?
Thanks for the info.

Your air filter should be bolted onto the air box with 4 torx screws if im not mistaken.
this is after you remove the airbox from the car... these screws hold the filter in place with 2 brackets

As said above, 5/16" nut driver and loosen the stainless worm drive clamp between the snout and throttle body accordion (oval section).
Remove grey clip on underside of Mass airflow sensor connector, then press tab on underside of MAS connector and remove plug.
Pull up on filter housing to remove filter housing from 3 rubber-isolated connectors.
The air filter, again as stated above, is held into the housing by 6 Torx screws. T20, I think, but maybe T15.
I replaced the air filter with the ZR1 version (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-a3107c). I also replaced the housing with a Z06 version (same as LS3 but without the box on the passenger side). Now I get a noticeable, but barely, howl at about 2700rpm. Makes me grin

You going to need some patience when removing the MAF connection. It is a pain. Sometimes I get lucky and it comes right off sometimes not.
