Valentine One V2 Volume
I was previously a Escort owner and decided upgrade my old unit to the new V2. The problem is the volume on the V2 is too low. You can not hear it with the windows down or the radio at any decent volume level. My Escort was only at mid volume and it was plenty loud. Anyone experience the same issue? I hate to return it but I might have to unless I just got a bad unit.

Burning Brakes
You could plug in an external speaker...
This is escorts version. If your V2 has a plug in for one I'm sure this would work. I had this setup with an Escort 9500ix I used to own. It worked great...VERY loud! Now I use Android Auto with the Escort app and Samsung Music. When I get an alert it automatically lowers the volume of the music.

I switched to the Valentine Gen2 because of the app ability. I now run V1 Driver on my iPhone and it connects through CarPlay. This announces the threat through the car speakers. I absolutely love it. With my R7 I had trouble seeing the display with my top off as well as hearing the detector do to road noise and radio.
