The Vette didn't see its shadow today. Looks like 6 more weeks of winter.

Guess I'll go ice climbing...

More snow/ice coming to Central Texas tonight again.

First ice last Saturday then 6.4" of snow Sunday, then last night another 0.25" of ice.

Crap, How do you northerners deal with this?

No water for 3 days. Electricity in and out (on for 18 hours straight now).

Having lived in Montana all my life alls I can say is you get used to it, plus a lot of us have a secondary heat source such as a wood stove that doesn't rely on power should the power go out.

I chopped and splitter about 3 cords of wood last week knowing it was coming. Also had my hunting heaters on. Kept house at 58-62 at night last 4 days. Maybe one more day of this.

Alot of people dont understand driving is dont floor the gas pedals and coast thru intersections if it is safe on hills.

A good thing about winter is that it makes you appreciate summer that much more when you have scenes like this.

One thing I think is just plain rude. People who do not wipe the snow off their cars / trucks and just drive down the road blowing snow all over the place.

Not just rude, but illegal.

You are liable for anything that comes off your car and causes damage (either by direct contact or avoidance). It's not just the crap you have sort of strapped in the bed of your PU on the way to the dump, it's also snow/ice.

The hard part is finding the guilty party after the fact.

I'm fairly certain that's illegal in most states.... very bad things can happen, especially on the roof of 53 foot trailers....

Winter cast says 95% chance of one to two feet just in time for the weekend.
