Default Help identifying if the Z06 im buying is on pump gas, flex fuel, or E

Like the title states I'm trying to figure out a way of knowing for sure. I'm buying a 07Z qith 10kmiles from a dealer so they don't know every detail. I know it has intake, full exhaust, manifold, cam, and id assume the heads are done considering the other work that's done. But I know some people switch to flex fuel or complete e85 with this setup. How am I able to tell when I pick the car up before driving it 5 hours home?

There should be a flex fuel sender and line on the driver's side, which I can't see from your picture. But, most e85 builds are tuned to run on either e85 or 93. Good luck!

Have your salesman call the previous owner and ask.

Yeah, he probably uses his one call a day to dial a **** chat hotline instead of talking to car dealers.

It’s probably running on 93 octane. Flex fuel usually isn’t used until it is boosted.

If set up for E-85, would have the sensor in the fuel line.

Since the fuel line is a direct shot from the firewall outlet to the fuel rail inlet on the motor you posted, its not set up for E85.

As for the car, since the motor has been built, and no standard extended warranty will cover it due to the built motor, would have a third Party Pre purchase inspection completed on the car by a shop that knows about built cars, to make sure it checks out clean.
