Hello all -- If you recall about 3 weeks ago, I queried you regarding the 2013 or 2011 GS Corvettes I was looking at. The (Cyber Grey) 2013 had 25000 miles, 2LT, 2 previous owners, and the (SSB) 2011 had 8500 miles, 3LT and 1 previous owner. Same price for each. Many of you gave your opinions - and I appreciated all the input I received. Well...I'm happy to announce that I'm a proud owner of the 2011 SSB 3LT GrandSport w/ 8500 miles. Just did the deal this evening. Can't wait to take possession and get behind the wheel of the C6 again. It's been about 10 years since I owned my last one. Also looking forward to the chewing the fat with you all on this forum. Hopefully I'll get to meet up with some of you at a gathering or just in our travels down the road. Here is a picture of it at the dealer...
I think the low mileage was the #1 factor - the #2 was the 3LT versus 2LT and then the one owner, garage kept was the #3. I also liked the clear roof, versus painted roof. I'm told the car has zero paint defects (chips, dings, scratches). It was tough though. The 2013 was 2 yrs newer - had nicer seats and NPP. But - the offerings on the 2011 I just couldn't pass up. I kind of like the CORSA pipes on the 2011 as well. Trust me - I agonized over this for a while ... plus I did surf the web for others as well. I think I'm going to be happy with my decision.

I only have 1 suggestion for you...POWDER COAT THOSE CALIPERS! Would really set this off with a nice contrasting yellow or even a matching color.
