Hi Folks,
Tried to unlock the driver's door (2011 GS Vert) and it seems to unlock, but then re-locks before I can open the door.
The passenger door works ok and once inside I can reach across and use the emergency handle on the floor to open the driver's door no problem.
Any suggestions?

What happens if you enter the car from the passenger side and try to open the driver's door with the button in the door panel instead of the emergency handle on the floor?

The same thing happens. It seems to unlock then re-locks instantly. The only way I can open it is with the emergency lever on the floor

If you are hearing it click when trying to open from the outside and inside then it is most likely the door actuator. That was the symptom I had and had to purchase a new one. Get ready that part is north of $250.

Sounds like the door latch assembly. This issue seems to be happening frequently here in the c6 forum in the last 6 months. Mine went bad last year.
