Best QUIET tires for a C6 Coupe?

[QUOTE=FAUEE;1603418677]My opinion... People buy way more tire than needed for daily driving duty. They go out and buy super sticky Michelin or continental and then never take a turn fast or break 3500rpm. You don't need ultra high performance tires to drive to the golf course or corvette club events and talk about how fast the car is. These people would be better served by a much higher treadwear rating, lower performance tire.
But everyone is a race car driver when they're buying tires.[/QUOTE

so who polishes your crystal ball? Do you work at a tire store, where you gathered this information? its just like saying "I think everyone that puts a cam in their car do it just for the sound, they never go past 4000 rpm's"

It's pretty clear if you spend much time on here most people aren't pushing their cars much. Plus, truth be told, most decent tires nowadays will take a corner on the street way faster than a person will actually do.

But some folks live in the country, are genuinely bat **** crazy, and enjoy driving the hell out of their Vettes....just sayin'. Michelin PS4's give me more confidence than I deserve. And they're fairly quiet for those intimate moments when my wife is along for the ride and says something that I really want to hear...just sayin'.

my opioion I did not buy my car to race. I bought it because it is a Corvette and I always wanted one! Now I did have it to 140 on the speedway but that was a special event!! And it is 100% stock!

I replaced the crap Firestone RF that came on mine from the factory and replaced them with Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS run flats - the tires are VERY quiet. They may have been discontinued though, I'm not sure as I put them on 4 years ago. They wear really well to boot

I was nervous as hell after I replaced the originals with General C-Max. However, I just returned from a 17 day trip of 5791 miles, driving through Missouri, Kansas, exploring Colorado and Utah before heading up “the loneliest road in America” (Google it) to northern Nevada, then to California and back. I quickly forgot the non run flat tires, the car ran great and other than washer liquid, didn’t need anything else.
