Anyone know where to source tail light plug pigtail?
I'm looking for the part that plugs into the tail light socket without having to buy the entire back harness. I'm ok with buying the plug parts, wires, tools and assembling them myself if need be. Of course, in the sake of saving time, a plug with a cut pigtail would be the preference. Thanks.

I was able to buy just the plug harness from my dealer for a Camero several years ago. Check with your dealer's parts department. Also sometimes the parts stores sell plugs.

I will have to check with the dealer and parts stores. I did find something like them at summit. They are just ridiculously expensive for some cheap wire and plastic. I'd rather get the parts from digikey or mouser and assemble my own.

Pull the tail light on a C6 sitting on the street, cut the connector off, and leave. Quick, easy, and free. Not serious and can't help you beyond suggesting a dealership or auto parts store, but I couldn't resist.

Yes the 88988139 is stupid expensive.
Mouser or someone may be able to cross reference the service number.

Try the Autozone Duralast....17 bucks. Or the Pep Boys E-bay store (BWD PT5600)...23 bucks with free shipping if you buy 2.
