Yes it's a Lamborghini
Took the vette out today, pull up to a 4 way and a school bus just so happened to have a stop there for drop off. Probably 10 or so 10-12 year olds got off and as they were walking I hear them go woahh! wow!!! look at that car!! One goes 'is that a Lamborghini'?. Brought a smile to my face and I couldn't help but just chuckle. Car has some splitters and is orange with black wheels, lowered etc so I could see where they got the idea. Always pretty cool when kids gawk over a car that costs only around $30k the same they would as a $300k one

Just goes to show you they aren't teaching kids the right stuff in schools these days.

My grandson's preschool boys group decided that all sports cars were Lamborghinis, especially red ones. As a kindergartner, he now knows about Corvettes. My guess is that Lamborghini is fun to say.

One of our club members took her C8 to a car show and got a trophy; yes they presented to her as they thought it was a Lambo. I maybe could see that on a C8 but a C6, you gotta love that one too.

Guy in a Gallardo pulled up next to me on the highway the other day and nodded. Another time I accidentally waved at a car I thought was a Vette which turned out to be a Ferrari and the dude waved back. Usually the pasta rocket guys keep to themselves. Vette is definitely a tier of sports car above anything I've owned before.
I wonder if other people think I am only an american car guy or that I'm not appreciating their car because of what I drive. Nope, I am definitely checking out that porsche, appreciating that STi, loving the modded NA Miata.
The exotics are beautiful but the fact that they all require constant super expensive maintenance is really biting into the respect I have for the engineering of those cars. Some of it is down to mass production actually improving quality but, c'mon. Maybe I'm just getting old. I'm just very impressed with the reliability of the C6.

I have an 07', bought new, and I still get asked what kind of car it is. However, people in the know usually say it looks great and can't believe how old it is. I believe these cars are pretty timeless in themselves. Mine always inspires me.

LOL. Took my 13 427 Anniversary to a cruise in/festival shortly after I got it and the guy parking the cars asked me if it was a new Firebird. Think I'd rather be a Lambo too!! Great story, and nice car.
