Newbie needs info, looking for a Z06
hello all
I have looked for stickies and not found anything unless I missed it.
I am looking to buy a 2006 or younger Z06 . The prices have been going up and up, I have a low 40s budget.
My fav. colors would be blue or grey.
What do I need to look out for, best year, what to avoid, best options etc?
Thanks for your help

As it's full of Z06 owners to question, along with reading the threads for information. Happy hunting.

2020 C6 of the Year Winner - Modified
The best years are ‘11-‘13 with the Z07 ultimate performance pkg. Those would be probably next to impossible to come by in your price range, however. Aside from that pkg, they’re all pretty much the same, and all years are susceptible to the infamous dropped valves. If you can find one that has either aftermarket heads or “fixed” heads from a reputable performance shop, not Joe Blow’s garage, even better.
