But when you own a Corvette, isn't everyday Corvette Day!!
you beat me to it! everyday i get to drive mine, it immediately makes it a better day.
heading out tomorrow a.m. from the SF bay area, down to So. Cal. nowhere in particular, just haven't been there in a while. maybe afterwards I'll realize why. but, going regardless.
what a way to spend July 4th, top off on the freeway in California!

Today was the first day driving mine for about a month and it is my DD. Wife had back surgery about a month ago, so I have been driving her jeep so I save with regular unleaded, plus I like driving it. I started a radio install that about a week ago just wrapped up last night so was a much nicer drive to work today jamming the tunes. Shame couldn't have the top off as it is a scorcher out today.

if I'm cruising on the freeway, the top is always off ( rain or cold weather dependent ). if around town, I'll wimp out & click on the A/C.
I am not cruising on the interstate. Frequent stops. heat index of 104. Tops on for me.
last year heading north on hwy 101 ( central valley California ), the temperature and mph were playing tag. at 92°, the temp won out. although i was later pulled over for doing a supposed 85mph ( cop was walking back to his car when i passed him ).
actually i was doing only 82. after the license & insurance review, he figured out what my plates said ( tried for USA 1, but obviously already taken ). he let me go and said to drive safe & have a nice day! no ticket! phew!
