Wide Body Wheel Custom Offset Do you agree?
Looking for information on what you guys are running for wheel offset on custom forged wheels.
I would like the wheel close to flush with the fender lip. I have been recommended the following by the wheel manufacturer. I just want to additional feedback/recommendations that maybe I have not thought about, or is this the perfect setup.
+30 on front 10 x19. +35 on 10.5 x 19
+50 on rear. 12 x 19

They will be pushed out a bit from stock, but they won’t be flush.
You technically don’t want them flush unless you like to live on the wild side, but 15-10mm is not going to get you flush. Most people put 20mm spacers on to flush their wheels. I’d say +15-18mm additional over stock offsets would probably be a nice sweet spot

Thanks for the reply. I just want them out further than stock because I think stock they sit to far inside the wheel well. I do not want them sticking out that is for sure. That’s why I am asking what y’all are running.
please others chime in.

+32F (19x10) & +50 rear (20x12). Do you have a base or wide-body car?

Wide body. Thanks Jabcat! That is exactly what I wanted to confirm. I am still trying to decide on 19x19 or 19x20 setup I think either will look great. Nice Ride BTW.

20mm spacers put my right, rear wheel too far out but my left rear was perfect.
If I were ordering custom wheels, for the rear I would order 13mm further out than stock and then you have room to dial it in with smaller spacers, up to 7mm, on the stock studs. Stock being 12" wide, +59 offset and my suggestion being 12" wide, +46. This also jives with JABCAT's post because you can see there is room to go out a few more mm on the rear.
10" wide and +30mm offset is perfect on the front of my car, +32 looks really good on JABCAT's and gives you room for a tire with a meatier sidewall like he has. I run Hankooks and they have a less blocky, more round sidewall.
I have 19" wheels all around and if doing it again, would do 20" in the rear.

Thanks for the suggestion Prodigy. If I may ask why would you move to the 20” rear wheel? This is something I’m trying to determine myself but seems the 19/19 is very popular with the C6 crowd. Your opinion on this might be helpful.
thanks for the replies fellas!

I just like the look of a bigger rear wheel. Tires are considerably more expensive though.

I would guess the majority of people still stager their wheels. Even if you get 19"/19" you're not going to be able to rotate the wheels front to back, so why bother getting this set up?
In my opinion, if you want a 19" wheel up front, go w/ a 20" on the rear. Yes this would require 4 new tires, but it is worth it.

As mentioned, 19/20 is a combination. Look at the ZR1, a very well proven machine in every way! It runs 19/20 combo wheels and tires and well thought of by GM engineers and no rocket science here
