Lowered mine to the max on stock bolts and did not cut the rubbers. perfect and it has been that way for the last 65K miles. Yes align it after, and pick up a couple of spare sets of fron air dams (they are cheap). And the car looks a whole bunch better.

In my sig she is setting on 17 inch rims and Hoosiers on all four, and she sets almost a half inch lower on race tires.
