I don't get it. The shifter is like the last thing on my short list of things that could use improvement.

I haven't seen any aftermarket options for the A6 other than maybe color stiching. Would be nice to have an illuminated C6 symbol on the shifter, like other vehicles, but is not a deal breaker for sure, it does it's job.

The 2005 shift **** was a POS. Same **** that was in my 95 Z28
The 2006+ **** ain't bad. I had the silver piece done in carbon fiber on my old 2006.
