In that I am new to the Forum, thought I would share and ask advice on what I am looking to do on my order. Any comments would be welcomed.

If you're not getting MSRP, you should change to a different dealer. My order is in at MSRP with Rick Daniel (Les Stanford in Dearborne) and I found him wonderful to work with. The dealer here refuses to allow any Vette out of his dealership for an price less than $5,000 over MSRP. Seems some folks don't understand how small this world is becoming. Best of luck on your new Vette! The wait is getting more painful by the day, for me!

I hope you can buy a car at MSRP. I deal with a dealer in Houston who will not allow a vehicle to be sold over MSRP. I deal directly with the owner, and have bought 12 cars from him in the past nine years. A couple of weeks ago I was discussing the SSR with him, and told him I heard they were going 5K over list. He told me then his sales people are not allowed to sell anything over list. I always thought that was the case, but he has always made me good deals, so I wasn't sure if that was his policy or not.
