Daytona Sunset Orange
I have been really worried that the orange on the C6 would be the same as the orange GM is using on other cars and trucks. Just found out the paint codes are different and more importantly the touch-up codes are different. Looks like the orange used on most everything else is code 56U, touch-up code is WA-913L. The Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic code is 71U, and the touch-up code is WA-633H.
Sorry if the info is a dupe but I haven't found confirmation anywhere else so I thought I would pass it along. Now I just want it to get built!!

daytona sunset orange
Color looks good it has more red in the color than GM's other reds and changes more in the sunlight. If you can catch motor week this week on speed channel they hey drive the orange C6, check it out.. My car is about 300 away from being built Daytona Sunset orange Z51 with cashmere interrior which goes fantastic with the orange.

Saw an Orange Avalanche
Interesting info. I saw an orange Chevy Avalanche a couple of days ago. It was a bright sunny day here in San Antonio. Tracy, I sincerely hope you are wrong about the color being the same. This orange did not have any "red/pink?" highlights in it. It almost had a "burnt orange" look to it. I remember thinking to myself that it was drab looking without any highlights... I have been seriously considering changing my color to Daytona Sunset Orange, but not if that's the color. I wish I could see a C6 in that color, its the only way to know for sure...

It was used on the 02 and 03 Avalanche but not the 04. It was also used on the 01 and 02 Camaro and Firebird also 01 Cavalier and Sunfire.
