Daylight pics on Day one... LMB w/ Grey int
Got to take it out for a bit today before the rain started in. These first-day pics are dedicated to my man Stan, who's day is coming Monday. Only one day to go dude!!!

Only had one weird problem so far. I got in the car this morning, and there was no audio coming from the stereo. It looks like it was working okay, at least on the unit's display. Just no tunes. I realize that "Enjoy the Silence" from Depeche Mode was on my CD that I loaded, but I didn't think the vette took my music to literally. Anyhow, after I shut the car down, and started it back up, all was well. No problems since.

Crazy Crazy power
HUD - Every car should have a HUD.
The clutch is light, and stick is tight. (That english guy on that TV show was crazy)
Fit and finish; I've got 2 people thinking about vettes now. It's a new ballgame...
The forgiving ride from the Z51 suspension. I had braced for the worst, but this thing is truly awesome. Not harsh AT ALL
Averaging about 23 mpg so far
12 young kids pouring out of an Outback Steakhouse in Cupertino to check out the ride, yelling out a chorus of "Dude! That ride is sick!!!" I think I bridged some sort of generation gap.
Dislikes:
Hand brake doesn't go all the way down to a flush-with-the-console position.
Size of the Onstar Antenna in the front window.
Getting used to both dislikes, cause they are really really minor. Nowhere near any kind of deal-breaker. Anyhow, that's about it for now. More quality time tomorrow, when it's hopefully not raining!

Great looking car!! Any second thoughts on the interior, was that your initial choice, are your seats with perforated leather (if so can you post a photo). Sorry for all the questios, I am trying to decided between black, beige, steel gray for the interior.
Enjoy your car!!!

Beautiful ride, enjoy.
I would have gone the same, if it weren't for the constraints.
I like the fact that the handbrake stays up. After 6 years driving an Auto C5, I went back to stick with my DSOM. I've got alot of re-learning to do, and I think it's easier to grab in sloping situations.

Hey, thanks for the dedication Tom! Those pictures are awesome....again. The car looks really exotic from some of those angles. I can see I'll have to buy more 512mb CF cards for my camera since I'll be taking pictures at least as often as you are.
I haven't heard any more from my dealer, but we're still on for Monday. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the "real" delivery date this time. If they miss this one too, I think I'll be a total basket case.
I'll post and email as soon as that elusive C6 hits the dealer's lot.

How was the experience at Sunnyvale Chevy? I've heard good things about them on here. What kind of deal if you don't mind my asking?
