Default Good looking Car carrier

Boy was I surprised when this carrier pulled into our yard in Queens, NY today.

Makes you want to climb up on that Viper and do the CAGS bypass.

Wow, what a load. Was it headed to some car auction, perhaps?

My boss rents out parking space to about 8 car carriers. Some work for new car dealers and the others transport cars privately. This was one of the private carriers. They usually don't come in with such a fine selection!!! Alot of folks ship their cars to warmer climates for the winter and some people buy their cars up north and ship them down south. The under carriage sure is nice when new.

By the way the Magnim PI car which was a 308, those were real dogs. A vette of the same era would easily trounce it. My cousin had a '88 Corvette that did just that. When the Ferrari driver caught up at the next light he asked my cousin what he had under the hood. He replied " Chevy V8 "

Am I mistaken, or does that silver C6 have no protective wrap on it? The paint looks exposed, the emblems aren't covered, the center caps are installed, and I don't see any paper on the top. I wonder if it isn't being sold from one dealer to another dealer or broker.

My boss, who was thinking of getting a Ferrari 308, like the one in Magnum P.I. is now a changed man. He came with me to Kerbeck in Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday for the Toys For Tots run, where we both test drove C6's. He loved the buttery smooth 6-speed so much that he put a deposit on the upcoming 2006 corvette Z06!!! Of course he didn't know what a Z06 was until I told him on the way down to AC but hey it must be good to have $$$$. He currently drives an S500 Benz as his daily driver and has a '97 Porsche C2S with 17K miles on it in the garage. When he felt how much more comfortable the vette is to live with than his Porshe he was completely blown away. He's now as excited as a kid in a candy store and I'm pretty pumped since I know that he will lend me the beast on occassion like he does the Porsche
