Default C6 Shifter Makes Rattling Noise??

I have about 1000 miles on my C6, C51, 6speed vette now and when I am climbing in RPM in 2nd and 3rd gears mostly the shift know or shifter seems have vibrate with a rattling noise as if my ring is rattling on it. Seems to go away to a degree after the car warms up in about 15 to 20 minutes. Anyone know of had this problem?
Thanks

Mine does this at times.. (not all the time) when it 3rd gear... I only noticed it when my radio was down... .. I have pinpointed the cause yet other than the gears still being new... when I put a little pressure on it upwards it goes away... its only in 3rd though... I will keep an eye on it... it doesnt affect anything that I know of.....

Yeah I wish it was my ring but it isn't. I haven't figured it out yet. I took it to the dealer and by the time I got there it had quit doing it of course

Hmmmm. I would like to know more about the bulletin if you can as the dealer here didn't know anything about it and said no bulletins had been released on it.

This link is to ONE video--->https://photos.app.goo.gl/E3XcyjQM34MUzyE9A

This other link is to a handful of videos in case anyone is curious enough to listen------> https://photos.app.goo.gl/5sHKyzA5oD8jmez46

I have a 2013 Grand Sport with 27,xxx miles. I've been daily driving it for over a year now. Around May 2023 it started making the noise you hear in the video above. It was subtle at first but now it pretty much does it through all gears. It doesn't seem to matter if I have the clutch pressed all the way in or just cruising, it does it in all gears. In person it's not as loud as it is in the video.

I've already tried an MGW shifter but there was no change. I bought a replacement OEM shifter and boots but still no change.

I have already taken it to a transmission shop, they test drove it and said the transmission shift perfectly and they don't think it's a transmission issue. They didn't charge to test drive but they said it would cost a lot to take everything apart down there to get a look.

I recently installed a stock shifter and ****. I've even tried driving without the **** installed but I think in my situation it's not related to the actual ****. I'm starting to suspect it's related to the torque tube.

So hope its not that....One more thing is your hand on the shifter when it buzzes....You can actually be pulling at the shifter and not knowing it under acceleration and that might cause a buzz...I usually open my fingers hand and the **** rests in my palm after shifting if I am hammering it so I don't pull the shifter until I clutch it...I've had the buzz on more than one Corvette because of the **** or pulling on the shifter under acceleration...Since you put the oem back on we know its not that...

Good luck regardless...

Thanks! Nope, when I hear the noise I've tried putting my hand on or off the shifter, I've tried pressing down on it, pulling up, moving it slightly in different directions but it doesn't make a difference. Thanks for trying!

If rebuilding the torque tube consider replacing the clutch as well. The replacement cost is mostly labor and having the torque tube out it's right there.
