Is it just me or do the A/C controls and display just not match the quality of the rest of the C6. I love everything about this car, but the LCD screen and the generic ***** just don't do it for me. I am sure it won't bother me too much, but I just wondered what everyone else thought. Maybe it's just me?
They don't bother me. I might want something a little classier if I were driving a luxury car instead of a sports car, but even the LCD screen is a nice touch.
How many cars have a button to press to shut off the A/C compressor when you need the extra engine power?

My Miata automatically shut off the A/C whenever I goosed it!
My Suburban, my wife's Jag and my daughter's Jetta all have a button to turn off the A/C compressor.
If you put it in auto mode is that when the compressor is always on? Just like if you leave the headlight switch on auto the lights will automatically come on when dark....This dual air system is to me I don't want to be driving around all the time with the air cond on or the compressor on. I want more control over some of the functions of the car.
Just like the auto headlight position everytime you exit or enter your vehicle or if you are in a dark garage those lights will flick on automatically thereby more usuage = will burn out and wear out faster. Yes can replace fog light bulbs even upgrade them along with high beams after you remove the tires but the low beams straight to the dealership..This HID system will cost $$$$
All AUTO does is keep the interior temperature at your desired setting. The compressor is only on when it needs to be to keep that temperature, just like on most A/C.
The headlights will never come on, even in a darkened garage, if you leave the light setting on the PARKING LIGHT setting (before you start your car), just below AUTO. However, all the other lights will come on.
I will have to check this one out again before starting the car

Because all I remember is the switch going right back to the "auto" mode....Already lost a DRL/Turn signal at 300 miles. Bad bulb??
This new C-6 seems to take the thinking away from you and does everything for you but

but put the gas in. Lots of safety features are built into the default. I am still used to the 68 - 72 Corvettes. But these new Corvettes I can learn to appreciate the room service I am getting.
