Looking for a Dale Simmet Corvette
Here is an unusual and heartfelt request.
Dale Simmet was an engine builder at Wixom PBC. He was a great guy to work with and took a lot of pride in his work.
Tragically, he died not long after he retired and not long after he bought his dream car, a new Corvette.
His daughter is now looking for a Corvette with an engine built by her dad, Dale Simmet. Which means it would have to be a C6 Z06, ZR1 or GS with a dry sump engine. So if by chance you have a Dale Simmet engine in your Corvette, or know of someone who does, and is considering a sale, please let me know.

My engine finally gave out after 127k miles (either a spun main bearing or cam shaft bearings are shot). Decided to install new crate engine rather than rebuild. The builder on my new crate engine is Mike Priest. Chuck Witmer built my original engine.
