Default New VR Painted Spoiler, need help on install

body install one yet? Just picked one up and was wondering if there were any precautions one has to take? It came with 4 wierd looking screws, with six pointed star shaped tops.

Looks like a wood screw on one end and fine threads on the other.

Advice on install please.

Thanks.

It's actually pretty easy. Search the C6 Tech forum for a DIY that some dude did. Good job, with pix. Good luck!

Remove two inner tail lights. One torx screw each at top of tail light. Then reach in and remove 4 nuts that hold spoiler on. After that, just reverse proceedure and you are done. Should take about 15 minutes! Also, you have to remove light assembly and re install on painted spoiler. Its real easy. Screws you mentioned install in holes on your painted spoiler, other end gets the nut that holds it on. Once you get old one off, its all kind of self explanitory

Very easy, just don't drop the nut (like I did)! Hmmm.....that didn't sound right. Well anyway, you get what I mean.
