Default TSB on Shifter Rattle ?

Did some search (not 100% successful) on the shifter rattle under moderate acceleration, came up with a service bulletin number 3104A and and NHTSA item number 10009976 for the 2006 ZO6 but not the 2007 but I think it would apply to the '07 anyway. Apparently there is a fix, however the local dealer is clueless , anyone knows how to proceed from here in regards to the proposed fix from GM ? The rattle is becoming embarrassing specially when taking people for a ride, or them driving.

It wasn't bothering me that bad, but this does fix it. Spend $70 and 5 minutes to sleep better at night.

It's not really bothering that bad neither, it just stinks when you spend $75+ large and you have to deal with such annoyances, GM's development engineers should know better than this , besides how come I was able to find the TSB and 2 local Chevy dealers where clueless.
